I want to feel differently ...



Thanks to Tony Robbins, I would like to share a “Triad”


The Triad is made up of three parts;


  1. Physiology - Your body - Q. What are you doing with your body? If you improve your posture, you’ll experience a feeling of confidence and alertness. If you slump, your mood will slump. Try it right now. Stand up straight and breathe deeply. Reach your arm in an upwardly sweeping motion. Smile. Dance in place. Observe how this body movement changes your emotions. This knowledge is powerful!

  2. Focus - your belief - Q. What are you focusing on or believing? As Tony Robbins says, “Where focus goes, energy flows.” Focusing on what’s important to you. Don’t let your mind wonder to the “what if,” or the “I can’t,” or the “I’m not.” Visualise the powerful and whole person you are and want to be. By setting your focus on the positive, your mental and emotional state will shift.

  3. Language - meaning - Q. What are you saying to yourself? Name calling, second guessing, doubting, criticizing, blaming – these do not build good relationships with other people, so why would you talk to yourself that way and destroy your relationship with yourself?  Cultivate greater awareness of the words and tone you use when you engage in self-talk. You will see patterns of self-hatred or self-abuse? Then switch to words, phrases or tone to one that shows self-love and self-compassion.

Always starting with Step 1. Physiology, the body - the quickest way to change how you feel. Ways to do this can be as simply having a glass of water, go for a walk, move your body on the spot, jump up and down, if you are sitting - stand up, if you are standing - sit down.

Every emotional state is a Triad for example; ‘when I am happy’ - Traid, ‘when I am anxious’ - Traid, ‘when I am excited’ - Traid, ‘when I am confident‘ - Traid.


Here is an Example:


I would like to create a new state of a Traid of ‘happiness’

  1. Physiology - in a state of happiness how would my body be? Smiling, laughing, eyes open, shoulders up, standing upright, or sitting upright, head up, body relaxed, breathing deeply...

  2. Focus ; I would believe that life is happening for me and everything I need is already within me; I am whole, I am healthy, I am loved, I am exactly where I need to be ...

  3. Language - ‘I am exactly where I need to be,’ ‘life is happening for me’, ‘I love life and I am creating happiness in my life.’
